Milly Weis
Milly Weis founded Peace to Progress as a way to support families seeking a design-based approach to the birthing process and early parenting years. She is dedicated to providing resources and counseling for women of all backgrounds. She is trained as a labor and delivery nurse and her heart is to see women flourish in their journey of motherhood. Even as far back as highschool, Milly sought to be active in mentorship programs for girls in her community. In college, these experiences opened the doors for her to work with local crisis pregnancy centers as a counselor before graduating with her BSN and receiving her RN in 2013. After having her first child, she returned to working in crisis pregnancy centers, but this time as a nurse, transitioning them from limited counseling centers into non-profit OB/GYN clinics. This season equipped her with knowledge of prenatal testing, sonography training, and working with women through every prenatal stage. With this firm foundation, in 2017 she began supporting families from the first positive pregnancy test through to their initial newborn weeks as a doula, consultant, and childbirth educator.
